1/2 cup packed brown sugar

3 tablespoons butter or margarine -- softened

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup butter or margarine

1 cup chopped pecans

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350F. Beat flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 3 tablespoons butter with electric mixer on low speed until blended.
